Swansea has a proud tradition of producing great sports people. It takes dedication, determination and hours of hard work to maintain the city of sport we know and love.
Whether it’s the volunteer or the coach who puts in hour after hour behind the scenes, the team which has been the most successful through the year or the sportsperson that has achieved the most in their sport, Swansea is a city full of sporting champions.
We are pleased to be able to celebrate our champions for the first time since 2020. Our athletes have worked extremely hard this year and we look forward to recognising and honouring their achievements and outstanding contributions to sport through the Swansea Sports Awards in association with Freedom Leisure.
The Swansea Sports Awards ceremony will take place from 7pm on Thursday 30 March 2023, at the Brangwyn Hall in association with Freedom Leisure. Book Swansea Sports Awards tickets. There’s also a 25% discount from group purchases of 10 or more tickets!

The College has a bursary and mentoring programme for elite athletes consisting of financial and holistic elements.
