Immerse yourself in Latin-American culture and arts at Volcano Theatre throughout Swansea Arts Weekend.
As part of a vibrant celebration of the arts in Swansea City, Volcano is creating a pop-up Latin American public space in and around our HQ in Swansea High Street.
Enjoy Latin-American music performances, dance, photography, arts and activities at Volcano Theatre, with workshops suitable for families and adults alike. The beloved event venue will be transformed, transporting you to the vibrant streets of Central and South America.
Events
- 04.10, 05.10, 6pm – 11pm: Ffiesta Bar
- 05.10, 11am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm: Photo Portraits by Abayomi Shogbade. Have you high-quality digital portrait taken free, for it to be displayed in the exhibition. 50 people maximum.
- 05.10, 1pm – 4pm: Flamenco Guitar. 200 people maximum, enjoy the artistry and performance of live music.
- 05.10, 4:30pm – 5pm: Pinata for kids! 50 attendees maximum.
Workshops:
- 05.10, 11am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm: Latin American Arts and Crafts for all ages. 30 people maximum
- 05.10, 1pm – 2pm, 2:30pm – 3:30pm: Argentine Tango with Urban Tango Nights. 30 people maximum, adults-only.
