Swansea Bay Rider Land Train

If you want to travel along Swansea Prom in style, look no further that the Swansea Bay Rider Land Train!

Our 72 seater land train runs from Blackpill Lido to Oystermouth along Swansea Prom itself – giving passengers an incredible view of Swansea Bay as they travel along.

So whether you want to take a seat to soak up the sights in style, or hop on for a relaxing journey after a day of fun in the sun, jump on to the Swansea Bay Rider Land Train!

 

The Bay Rider has finished running for the 2024 season. Check back in spring 2025 for details of when it will be running again.

The spooky Halloween Ghost Train will be running during on October 30th and 31st.

Please note: The Swansea Bay Rider is weather dependent and will not run if conditions are poor.

Prices

Our hop-on-hop-off ticket allows you to hop on and off the train as many times as you like throughout the day.

  • Hop-on-hop-off standard – £7.00
  • Hop-on-hop-off concession (under 16s, student and senior citizen) – £6.00
  • Hop-on-hop-off PTL – £4.30
  • Hop-on-hop-off family (2 adults and 2 juniors) – £17.00
  • Children under 3 years old travel for free

Buy your ticket on the train using cash or card.

Accessibility

The Swansea Bay Rider is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Dogs are allowed on the train if on a lead and under control.
